Triberg

Triberg is a small town situated in the Black Forest in the Baden-Württemberg region of Germany. Here are some pictures of the area from August 2008:

Triberg is located 48 kilometers (30 miles) northeast of Freiburg and 138 kilometers (86 miles) southwest of Stuttgart.

The Triberger Wasserfälle is Germany's highest waterfall, made up of 7 cascades at 163 meters (496 feet) high.

Another notable area to visit in Triberg is the Black Forest Museum (Schwarzwald Museum). This is the building to the right in the above picture. It is made up of 18 rooms holding carvings, traditional costumes, and other arifacts representing the culture and history of the area.
